Transportation Asset and Infrastructure Management Conference

The Transportation Asset and Infrastructure Management (TAIM) Conference provides the audience with the latest practices and state-of-the-art research related to infrastructure asset management, condition assessment and health monitoring, innovative materials, and technologies to improve the durability and extending the life of transportation infrastructure. The conference attracts professionals from throughout the mid-Atlantic region. It is an outreach program of the Center for Integrated Asset Management for Multimodal Transportation Infrastructure Systems (CIAMTIS), a USDOT Region 3 University Transportation Center (UTC) housed at the Larson Transportation Institute (LTI) of the Pennsylvania State University.

The 2025 conference will take place July 28, at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia.

  • Contractors and materials suppliers
  • Engineers, consultants, and other practicing professionals
  • Faculty and students from academia 

TAIM will focus on the synthesis of research learned from CIAMTIS in the areas of:

  • Application of innovative materials and technologies
  • Condition assessment and health monitoring
  • Infrastructure management and innovative financing

This one-day event seeks to showcase the most significant achievements of CIAMTIS over the past five years while fostering a forward-thinking conversation on the future of transportation infrastructure asset management.
